CASTING CALL

    The producers are looking for men and women of great athletic ability and fitness, who are above the age of 18, and have a wide variety of competitive backgrounds ranging from college-level football, basketball and soccer, to competitive gymnastics or competitive swimming. If you are an athlete interested in applying to be on the show, you may send:

    • A cover letter acknowledging your audition videos and information from your resume may be used for promotional purposes.
    • A one-page personal and employment history, and a written description of your athletic abilities and accomplishments
    • An audition video on a CD, DVD, or Mini-DV tape in a common video format that has recorded a 2-minute clip of your best athletic performance and your 2-minute statement on why you believe you have "the Right Stuff to be a Space Champion".

    Very Important: In our first episode we likely will include parts of the contestants' audition videos, so please do not include background music when making your videos.

    Competitor Prizes

    The show, Space Champions: Zero Gravity will awarding prizes throughout the series, including a cash prize for the Most Valuable Player, and 1-year or 2-year contracts for the best 7 players on each team to play in the Zero Gravity Sports League.

    This opportunity may be good exposure for those athletes looking to build their public profile to attract sponsors for your own international competitive aspirations.

    Exact production dates of the show are yet to be determined, but filming is expected require two to four weeks next summer in Las Vegas, Nevada.

    We are also looking to cast several coaches and assistant coaches who will compete for a two-year coaching contract for the 8 initial League teams.

    Thanks to all applicants who have submitted their audition videos so far; those submitting before the original deadline will have somewhat preferential consideration for appearing on the show over later applicants, but the producers provide no guarantee to anyone for a spot until contracts are signed.
